After finishing both the online modules and Live Classes, staff are fully credentialed to provide HCBS‑funded services.

CDS Two Day

The two‑day Live Class experience focuses on bringing online learning to life through hands‑on activities and meaningful group discussion. There is no additional testing during Live Classes; rather, this time is intentionally set aside questions, reflection, and real‑world conversations about supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Fatal Five

This training helps ensure compliance with applicable licensing regulations. This course is designed to increase awareness and knowledge of the five major health conditions, known as the Fatal Five, that can significantly have an impact on the lives of the individuals we support with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. These conditions include Aspiration, Dehydration, Constipation, Seizures, and Sepsis. Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities are at an increased risk for these potentially life-threatening health issues. Understanding how to recognize risk factors, identify warning signs, respond appropriately, and implement prevention strategies is essential for providing safe, high-quality care. Completion of this training equips direct-support professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to protect the health, safety, and well-being of the individuals they support.

Diabetes, Allergy Kits & Inhalers

Please join us in our annual required education covering topics on Diabetes, Nutrition, and Insulin; Epinephrine Autoinjectors use for anaphylaxis; Nebulizers, Inhalers, and other breathing apparatus.
